According to the American Red Cross, every two seconds a new person in the U.S. needs blood.  A blood transfusion can mean the difference between life and death for the recipient.   There  is always a need for blood but in the summer time and during holidays there are always shortages.   Blood is needed for surgery, trauma, cancer, anemia, and bleeding disorders.  Talk with your Loveland Family Practice doctor about if you’re a good candidate for donating blood and where to go to do so. You could save someone’s life!
