About ¼ of the people over the age of 70 have some form of cognitive impairment.  Mental exercise and brain training seems to sharpen their mental function and consistently makes a difference in their everyday lives. Although mental exercises help boost cognitive skills it’s not clear if they actually prevent dementia but it definitely is a step in the right direction.  It’s very important to remain mentally and cognitively active as long as possible.  Speak with your Loveland Physician about what activities can help improve cognitive impairment.
