There is a lot of concern for pregnant women who get the flu.  The strain of H1N1 flu this year is a more aggressive strain in younger people, so getting a flu shot is highly recommended.  The flu injection is recommended over the nasal spray for pregnant women.  There tends to be more hospitalizations from complications from the flu in pregnant women.    After the mother gives birth, breast-feeding is encouraged because the mom will pass on her immunities through her milk to the baby which will help to keep the baby healthy.  See your Family Medicine Doctor with concerns.
