Outdoor picnics and backyard barbeques  are  a summer staple.  Food safety is very important especially in warm temperatures.  Pack perishable foods such as meats, salads, eggs and dairy products in a cooler with lots of ice.  Bring disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer for clean up.  Don’t set out food until it’s time to eat and throw away food that has been out for more than 2 hours or for only 1 hour when it’s 90 degrees or more.  If you get food poisoning be sure to call your Loveland Physician for help.
